After having played for 21 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Galsino, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Abastas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Delmar Porfiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Porfiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luciano Abastas made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lenny Clocheret sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Luciano Abastas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 45 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Boldenona's Luciano Abastas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luciano Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Abastas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severino Galsino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Casper Claes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dániel Mayer kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Boldenona's Delmar Porfiro got a free kick in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lenny Clocheret fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgium's protests and gave Lenny Clocheret a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Lenny Clocheret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Boldenona's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Quentin Ladra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
