Bayern Boliviano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Ignatius Abancens fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Boliviano's protests and gave Ignatius Abancens a yellow card for diving instead. Ignatius Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Gunnar Vestlund kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Antonio Giorgio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 14th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Ignatius Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Bayern Boliviano got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Peres. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Antonio Giorgio but with some difficulty. 22 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Antonio Giorgio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Iztal in the 24th minute of play. Antonio Giorgio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Bayern Boliviano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Iztal to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Antonio Giorgio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Iztal made a kick off. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's Joannes Focquier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatius Abancens in the 55th minute of play. Antonio Giorgio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bayern Boliviano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Antonio Giorgio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 69th minute of the match. Antonio Giorgio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 78th minute of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Antonio Giorgio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bayern Boliviano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
