In the 22nd match minute, C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Terzic to maneuver through the defense. If Venancio Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Bittor in the 29th minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Toni Mauzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz's Elpidio Urre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Toni Mauzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Urre was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Croatia booed when C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Mauzer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Elpidio Urre 89 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the game, C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz's Felipe Bermudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
