Dong Zhen Song made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Hungary's Balazs Lajos to fire away a dangerous shot which Dong Zhen Song despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 17th minute, Balazs Lajos made a precise shot to the right of Dong Zhen Song. Cabezones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Duran Hunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabezones's supporters rose to their feet, but Duran Hunalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play forced Cabezones's goalkeeper Dong Zhen Song to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Hungary's Katona Janos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Katona Janos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hungary protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Katona Janos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Duran Hunalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duran Hunalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dong Zhen Song showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 54th minute of the match. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dong Zhen Song having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match, Major Barna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dong Zhen Song saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 79 minutes into the game, Cabezones's Eriberto Oso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Balazs Lajos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dong Zhen Song firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Dong Zhen Song threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Major Barna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th minute, Takacs Tibor made a precise shot to the right of Dong Zhen Song. Cabezones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 96 played minutes Cabezones got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Petri. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
