Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Segundo Perpinya got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EL REY DE LA CARNE's goalkeeper Silvestre Garin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Gomesano in the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silvestre Garin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes of play, EL REY DE LA CARNE's Justino Bastia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Segundo Perpinya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, EL REY DE LA CARNE's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Silvestre Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Bastia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Tirso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, EL REY DE LA CARNE's Segundo Perpinya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. EL REY DE LA CARNE's Silvestre Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute of play. Silvestre Garin was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Silvestre Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the EL REY DE LA CARNE defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Garin. The EL REY DE LA CARNE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Garin should have stopped the shot. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Bastia in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, David Eikelkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but David Eikelkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Garin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th match minute, EL REY DE LA CARNE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tirso in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Bastia came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Silvestre Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's late challenge caught a EL REY DE LA CARNE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gijsbert ter Kruimer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
