Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tom Hermansson started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Manuel Valerio got a free kick in the 5th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Niclas Füllkrug elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Iigo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Caetano Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 42 minutes in the game Elpidio Laurgain did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Niclas Füllkrug. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Teodosio Iigo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. The corner led AZURDUY F.C.'s Fred Åkerström to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 58 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Teodosio Iigo was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Felipe Barreto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Barreto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niclas Füllkrug went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A hard shot 72 in the game by Bartolomeu Dias from a close distance when the talented Teodosio Iigo managed to make a qualified save. AZURDUY F.C.'s players were relieved. When Niclas Füllkrug came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the AZURDUY F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niclas Füllkrug couldn't finish the play. After 77 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fred Åkerström who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Tom Hermansson sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. In the 84thth minute of the game Niclas Füllkrug who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fred Åkerström was slow to take the kick. During this time AZURDUY F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Tom Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Teodosio Iigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipinho Amorim's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
