Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Humberto Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Miro struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EAU FC. In the 20th minute, Otsando Llantaron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bjarne Kirkegaard's late challenge caught a EAU FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjarne Kirkegaard helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of EAU FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孟银迅 in the 35th minute of the match. Digo Simão hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Gaspar Ostargi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Theobald saved EAU FC from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Bertram Svenningsen made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Theobald. EAU FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otsando Llantaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Digo Simão had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertram Svenningsen during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 69 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. EAU FC's Humberto Theobald tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Otsando Llantaron scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 3-1. In the 78th minute Otsando Llantaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Erasto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Theobald having to interfere. A collision led to EAU FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gaspar Ostargi hit a great ball. Denmark's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
