After 3 played minutes Szuperbeton got a freekick which was hit by Gilliam De Fever. When Bertram Svenningsen came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertram Svenningsen couldn't finish the play. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szuperbeton's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. Didier Colpaert struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szuperbeton. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volodymyr Zelenskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Szuperbeton's Gilliam De Fever got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Volodymyr Zelenskiy skillfully saved the ball. Volodymyr Zelenskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A collision led to Szuperbeton getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gilliam De Fever hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 38th minute of play forced Szuperbeton's goalkeeper Volodymyr Zelenskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael Ceusters made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gilliam De Fever. When Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szuperbeton's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the game, Mickael Ceusters threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Volodymyr Zelenskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 56th minute of play. Volodymyr Zelenskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volodymyr Zelenskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertram Svenningsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Volodymyr Zelenskiy made a huge save. With a little luck, Szuperbeton's Volodymyr Zelenskiy got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line.
