Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Juravschi in the 5th minute of play. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Alberto Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Juravschi's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when George Baraboi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Puturoasa the free kick. 37 minutes into the game, Emil Juravschi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Emil Juravschi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Emil Scobioalã made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 44 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stein. Emil Juravschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Giuseppe Salles in the 53 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Emil Juravschi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Juravschi in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Eugen Doroftei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Emil Scobioalã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When UFC Puturoasa's Emil Juravschi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Emil Scobioalã kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Scobioalã came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that UFC Puturoasa were the better team. UFC Puturoasa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
