Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michael Wirinckx got the match started through his kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Wirinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Germany's goalie and right to Binjamin Ketelers. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Germany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 8 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Roderik Van den Berch came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathieu Toussain's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 12 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Binjamin Ketelers in the 16th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Binjamin Ketelers sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binjamin Ketelers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Michael Wirinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Wirinckx in the 39th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, SK Dreigoten's Qwinten Strupar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 47th minute of the match, Michael Wirinckx tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 48th match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luk Lejeune to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Luk Lejeune. After 55 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Vandendriessche. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Wirinckx in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Binjamin Ketelers came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qwinten Strupar in the 62nd minute of play. Binjamin Ketelers took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Qwinten Strupar's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qwinten Strupar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Wirinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Michael Wirinckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Wirinckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderik Van den Berch in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, one of SK Dreigoten:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Dreigoten. SK Dreigoten made a substitution. Joppe Van Goitsenhoven replaced Roderik Van den Berch. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SK Dreigoten fully deserved thier win.
