István Szakály hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but János Moravecz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wen Bing Liang in the 25th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when SÉ SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kálmán Ónodi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Szakály, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
