Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niilo Mikkola took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niilo Mikkola in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SeleSantos FC's Daniel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The France fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when France's Frank Peletier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13thth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when SeleSantos FC's Niilo Mikkola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Dinei Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Niilo Mikkola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Barbier in the 23rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on France's corner David Barbier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Niilo Mikkola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Niilo Mikkola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 44th minute of the match. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Pinheiro having to interfere.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niilo Mikkola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Niilo Mikkola came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. With a little luck, SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niilo Mikkola, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Dinei Pinheiro was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Frank Peletier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Peletier really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 77th minute, Niilo Mikkola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of France booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Niilo Mikkola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Pinheiro having to interfere. Norberto Trevisan made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jacobo Casado immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 95 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The France players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
