He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Spyros Kofinas. Gilbert Polkoski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Spyros Kofinas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wawrzyniec Czerny. liverpool team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of liverpool team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Germany. Frank Sachs stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wawrzyniec Czerny. 2-2. Spyros Kofinas came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, liverpool team's Zygmunt Budacz got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Uriel Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Bermudez came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Frank Sachs took a quick shot and it went in 5-3 without a chance for Wawrzyniec Czerny to make any attempt to save it. Uriel Bermudez scored 6-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Uriel Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kazimierz Damazki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cosme Cruz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led liverpool team's Cosme Cruz to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. liverpool team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
