Eliseo Cutri hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Siricio Liotta rounded ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Kepa Arrizabalaga made a huge save. Siricio Liotta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 36 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 38th minute of play. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Santos scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Antônio Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Santos to make the kick off. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Santos in the 51st minute. A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ove Ahlström hit a great ball. Kepa Arrizabalaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zena Busacca got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Porziano Marchitelli. In the 65th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kepa Arrizabalaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes was substituted for Antônio Santos. In the 75th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kepa Arrizabalaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kepa Arrizabalaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Porziano Marchitelli however managed to control. In the 91st match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Curto to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Adriano Curto made a precise shot to the right of Kepa Arrizabalaga. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 96 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Italy fully deserved thier win.
