Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elpidio Francis started the match with the kick off. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Elpidio Francis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda got a free kick in the 13th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 24th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bonifacio Suarez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bonifacio Suarez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Elpidio Francis sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 58th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Felipe Barreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Branislav Velchevski. The goal made the score 3-2. Timoteo Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 65th minute. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Arnaldo Gabon replaced Miguel Prosperi. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Branislav Velchevski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipinho Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 73 minute of play. Arnaldo Gabon scored 4-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's attentive Rafael Dalmu managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Elpidio Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Francis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Elpidio Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
