Bernabe Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Grzegorz Gdaniec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Grzegorz Gdaniec really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Bernabe Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 played minutes A.K.Sh Albania got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Gdaniec. In the 24th minute Grzegorz Gdaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 30 in the game by Grzegorz Gdaniec from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. In the 32nd minute of the game Alesandro Nesta made a throw-in which Martin Bacalbașa played forward. Bernabe Odon struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.K.Sh Albania. Grzegorz Gdaniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 42nd minute of play forced A.K.Sh Albania's goalkeeper Dobromir Malkanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Gdaniec kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grzegorz Gdaniec was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mei Wei Xuan went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by A.K.Sh Albania's Grzegorz Gdaniec. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Gdaniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Adrian Dreifuss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Dreifuss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dobromir Malkanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Grzegorz Gdaniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Schwerner to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Gdaniec came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72ndth minute of the game Grzegorz Gdaniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, A.K.Sh Albania's Grzegorz Gdaniec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The supporters of A.K.Sh Albania booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Grzegorz Gdaniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregorio Mel took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0.
