Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juan Funes took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 4th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Funes got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. River CBBA were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guerau Abeitia took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Guerau Abeitia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Ascaso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Endura Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, River CBBA's Gabriel Ascaso threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Funes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Abechuco in the 40th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Omar Toledo. Adria Bielsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Barovero having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by River CBBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Spain's players had a chance to rest. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 60th minute of the match. After 62nd play minutes Jon Cubero shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Marcelo Barovero and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 67th minute, Adria Bielsa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Barovero. The goal made the score 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carles Cherro got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carles Cherro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. River CBBA made a substitution. Argoitz Abeijon replaced Endura Abechuco. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. 83 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pau Herrero. Carles Cherro scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Barovero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponciano Abarca in the 87th minute of play. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save River CBBA from getting a goal against them. Sergio Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
