Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Japke de Boer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 9th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs's late challenge caught a Verwachting's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. Christijan Schreuder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Japke de Boer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. In the 33rd minute Harm de Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christijan Schreuder came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. Twan Hesseling might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Twan Hesseling ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Verwachting! The referee gave Germany a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frank Sachs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst. 1-1. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner.

The wind increased when Christijan Schreuder made the kick off in the second half. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Christijan Schreuder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 59 minutes into the match, Christijan Schreuder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christijan Schreuder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Twan Hesseling scored 5-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Malte Schiele with Frank Sachs as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Japke de Boer, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Herbert Hilhorst was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Albin Holweck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albin Holweck really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. In the 76th minute Japke de Boer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Christijan Schreuder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Herbert Hilhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Twan Hesseling scored 6-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Twan Hesseling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Christijan Schreuder notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Verwachting's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
