The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Denmark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sirmium Legionaries F.C.:s goal. The goalkeeper, Keld Paulsen, was totally fooled by Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Čeda Đurović, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Srba Ćirković in the 23rd minute of play. Ahmet Vefik Perkel struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sirmium Legionaries F.C.. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yıldıray Pektay, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pavle Komazec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff in the 40th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Sirmium Legionaries F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nemanja Šišić. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Čeda Đurović's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Čeda Đurović helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Čeda Đurović got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Yıldıray Pektay came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Sirmium Legionaries F.C. were awarded a corner. Čeda Đurović went to the cornerflag to take it. 61 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pavle Komazec. Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Geronimo Aragones was substituted for Yıldıray Pektay. When Čeda Đurović was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Čeda Đurović hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Geronimo Aragones scored 2-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sirmium Legionaries F.C. made a substitution. Perica Gojak replaced Srba Ćirković. 75 minutes into the game, 洪坚誉 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bertram Svenningsen scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavle Komazec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Billy Ahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A hard shot by Chris Nygaard from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Pavle Komazec's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Olav Graversen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavle Komazec having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Aragones in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. A hard shot 96 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Pavle Komazec managed to make a qualified save. Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s players were relieved. Denmark were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sirmium Legionaries F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
