With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matvey Epanchin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th match minute, Dynamite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lev Meskhi to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kazemir Gorbachev sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute of play forced Dynamite's goalkeeper Matvey Epanchin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Andrey Ostrovskiy made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Matvey Epanchin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Evgeniy Kobeko came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Andrey Ostrovskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. Dynamite's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Matvey Epanchin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Dynamite's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Matvey Epanchin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Andrey Ostrovskiy in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
