Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Academica Pulheim from getting a goal against them. Paul Heyckendorf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orhan Bey in the 7th minute. Orhan Bey scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Heyckendorf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Yaman Academy®'s goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Kretschmer came free, but Long Liang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Kretschmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Long Liang having to interfere. Long Liang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Ahrem, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Enes Ortanca fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaman Academy®'s protests and gave Enes Ortanca a yellow card for diving instead. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Zbigniew Setara replaced Gary Lineker. In the 26th minute, Enes Ortanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Mansilha in the 27th minute of play forced Yaman Academy®'s goalkeeper Long Liang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Kurt Ahrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Liang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Mansilha's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Ole Pankok got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kurt Ahrem. After 37 played minutes Yaman Academy® got a freekick which was hit by Jaap Stam. Yaman Academy®'s Long Liang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Setara in the 41st minute of play. If Lutz Golke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Orhan Bey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Paul Heyckendorf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Long Liang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Ahrem in the 54th minute of the match. Yaman Academy®'s Long Liang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Kretschmer in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Yaman Academy® booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Mansilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Mansilha hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Simon Beuke with Hugó Bøss as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Orhan Bey scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Heyckendorf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Long Liang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxime Vrints in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxime Vrints in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Long Liang saved Yaman Academy® from getting behind. In the 81st minute of the match Academica Pulheim got a corner. Yaman Academy®'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Mansilha ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Hugó Bøss managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Long Liang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugó Bøss in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Bey came free, but Paul Heyckendorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hugó Bøss hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Bey in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Heyckendorf saved Academica Pulheim from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Orhan Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaman Academy®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Orhan Bey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Heyckendorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Yaman Academy®'s goal looked a bit too open when Maxime Vrints came free, but Long Liang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Roberto Seppmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academica Pulheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaman Academy® the free kick. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Roberto Seppmann hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Academica Pulheim players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yaman Academy®.
