The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duarte Carneiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Honorio Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Asteguieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes BV Borussia Hammarby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Vilaprenyo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on RACING FBPA's corner Rigoberto Vilaprenyo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jairo Asteguieta quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Orvar Kihlman managed to get in a good position for a shot. BV Borussia Hammarby's supporters rose to their feet, but Orvar Kihlman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. BV Borussia Hammarby's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
