With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo de Moraes saved Vista Alegre FC from getting behind. Jonathan Borges hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Duarte Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Altamirano in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind RACING FBPA's goalkeeper Duarte Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Altamirano got free with Duarte Carneiro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes RACING FBPA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Souza who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vista Alegre FC's corner Igor Souza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duarte Carneiro quite easily take care of the ball. Rodrigo Altamirano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Duarte Carneiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rodrigo Altamirano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Carneiro having to interfere. Rodrigo Altamirano in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Duarte Carneiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marco Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo Vergílio got free with Duarte Carneiro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 44 in the game by Rodrigo Altamirano from a close distance when the talented Duarte Carneiro managed to make a qualified save. RACING FBPA's players were relieved. After 45 minutes RACING FBPA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Souza who took care of the corner kick. Rodrigo Altamirano struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Duarte Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vista Alegre FC. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Duarte Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Altamirano went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Oscar Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vista Alegre FC's Rodrigo Altamirano got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vista Alegre FC's Walmyr Tasso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lain Plata, made in the 65th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Altamirano in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Carneiro saved RACING FBPA from getting behind. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodrigo Altamirano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luisinho Laguna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes RACING FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Borges. Vista Alegre FC's Dudu Magalhães was substituted for Luiz Gustavo Vergílio. Luisinho Laguna took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Carneiro. Duarte Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Duarte Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 85th minute of play. Oscar Luz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Duarte Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Luisinho Laguna made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Carneiro. RACING FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Luisinho Laguna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Duarte Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Laguna in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Carneiro saved RACING FBPA from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vista Alegre FC fully deserved thier win.
