After 39 minutes of play, Bora Bora's Jesper Grubb made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 90th minute, Egil Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Samy Soufflet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Riccardo Hofer skillfully saved the ball. Jean-Pascal Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Robin Mager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. gipsy kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robin Mager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. When the match was over Bora Bora could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than gipsy kings throughout the match.
