The audience thought a goal was coming when Yin Yun Fan got free with Walter Wallander in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Kock in the 11th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Sergios Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sergios Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alaaddin Solskjær was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Kjell Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Åkesson came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Roni Ronaldinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walter Wallander made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Yin Yun Fan sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Kock in the 28th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Christopher Kock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alaaddin Solskjær was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergios Ramos in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Fredric Hybbert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kurdistan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Walter Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Sundström came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredric Hybbert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walter Wallander firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Kurdistan's Yin Yun Fan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yaser Pakel in the 44 minute of the game. Walter Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes JKs Talanger's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kjell Mattsson who took care of the corner kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 50th minute, Keefer Carragher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Yun Fan in the 54th minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after JKs Talanger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kjell Mattsson took the corner. Walter Wallander came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström. But to his dismay, Lars Sundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergios Ramos in the 63rd minute of play. Alaaddin Solskjær was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Sergios Ramos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergios Ramos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. FC Kurdistan's Iwan Kasiewski was substituted for Yin Yun Fan. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Elliot Nordgren replaced Lars Sundström. JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Nordgren in the 76th minute of play. Christopher Kock took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alaaddin Solskjær. Alaaddin Solskjær dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Ivar Askelöf charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivar Askelöf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 89 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Hybbert came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredric Hybbert took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Wallander. Walter Wallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Walter Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Nordgren in the 92nd minute of play. Walter Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Nordgren in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the JKs Talanger players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Kurdistan.
