Torgny Landin scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Levander. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Levander got free with Jens-Åke Källberg in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens-Åke Källberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Levander in the 25th minute. In the 25th play minute Jörgen Levander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jens-Åke Källberg. 2-1. Alaaddin Solskjær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Landin in the 28th minute of the match. Jörgen Levander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jens-Åke Källberg made a huge save. After 36 minutes Boca Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kjell Mattsson who took care of the corner kick. Alaaddin Solskjær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Hedling in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kurdistan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Özkan Kayaer was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Özkan Kayaer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær did a great save. Jens-Åke Källberg made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Fredric Hybbert sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kjell Mattsson was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kurdistan's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Fredric Hybbert to score against Jens-Åke Källberg in Boca Juniors's goal. 3-1 after 44 minutes. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Levander in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Landin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Torgny Landin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær. FC Kurdistan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgny Landin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. FC Kurdistan's Einar Hedström was substituted for Iwan Kasiewski. FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström was substituted for Jörgen Levander. Torgny Landin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaaddin Solskjær having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Sundström in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Åke Källberg saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. In the 67th minute Lars Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Hybbert came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Sundström in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Källberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roni Ronaldinho to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Jens-Åke Källberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Sundström's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Hybbert came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kurdistan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
