When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reginaldo Dias made a kick off. Nelson Insfrán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by EL LOBO DE MIAMI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Conklin was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alperen Öksüz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Nelson Insfrán did a great save. In the 84th match minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chad Tuttle to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willy Webster. Chad Tuttle made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marshall Medina however managed to control. 90 minutes into the match, Arturo Sito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Insfrán. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Sito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Arturo Sito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelson Insfrán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. New England Minas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of EL LOBO DE MIAMI for a fine match.
