A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens. Jannes Ruttens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th minute Nicky Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbur Hyde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Vilar scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jannes Ruttens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Montenegro in the 12th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Beto Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Vilar. In the 16th minute of the game, Pepe Rompel landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 16 minutes, Claude Mueller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Canalla de Chicago and the C. A. Pipon Pipon players grew even worse after the yellow card. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francesco Figueroa was substituted for Pepe Rompel. Claude Mueller hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Wilbur Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Bryson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Vilar got free with Jannes Ruttens in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Ruttens was a little too slow when Joaquim Vilar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. 27 minutes into the game, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Beto Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilbur Hyde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 30th minute of play. Domingo Lopez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jannes Ruttens came out and tried to block the shot, but Domingo Lopez slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 33rd minute. In the 37th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Lockhart to maneuver through the defense. Al Whatley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilbur Hyde. El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nathan Shannon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Al Whatley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilbur Hyde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilbur Hyde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesario Irazu in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Joaquim Vilar made the kick off in the second half. Nicky Bryson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Wilbur Hyde made a huge save. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Vilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Joaquim Vilar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jannes Ruttens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El Canalla de Chicago's Andreas Sanchez was substituted for Matthew Medrano. Cesario Irazu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Hyde having to interfere. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Lopez in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Raines in the 73rd minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justin Raines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jannes Ruttens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesario Irazu in the 78th minute of play. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Lopez came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Beto Montenegro. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because El Canalla de Chicago had won, even though C. A. Pipon Pipon had held more of the ball.
