In the 9th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lake Mohawk FC from getting a goal against them. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ye Gang Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucrețiu Gherase made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alperen Öksüz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lucrețiu Gherase made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Gold came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Tony Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lake Mohawk FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Edgardo Silva scored to the left of an out of position Lucrețiu Gherase, making the score, 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Edgardo Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucrețiu Gherase. The goal made the score 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

In the 51st minute Alperen Öksüz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New England Minas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lake Mohawk FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
