Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zaccheo Andolina kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Wessel Bos came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Eliseo Cutri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Kazimierz Chrobak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wessel Bos took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Wessel Bos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wessel Bos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Wessel Bos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wessel Bos in the 27th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wessel Bos in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wessel Bos in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Eliseo Cutri got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sostene Vitulli. When Wessel Bos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the KN ZGORZELEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wessel Bos couldn't finish the play. After the first half KN ZGORZELEC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

50 minutes into the game, Anthimos Ntounias threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Eliseo Cutri in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KN ZGORZELEC's André Luís Valladares. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Chrobak, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Furtok to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siricio Liotta spun around in front of the goal 75 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of KN ZGORZELEC's goal. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 77th minute of play. Wessel Bos took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 84th minute of play. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. 89 minutes into the game, Siricio Liotta threw the ball into play from the sideline. KN ZGORZELEC's Gilbert Gotfryd quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Curto in the 94th minute of the match. The KN ZGORZELEC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KN ZGORZELEC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
