Sreten Popovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sreten Popovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batuhan Tüzmen having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Selmi Yağız got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Bora Han Canay with Çağlar Sadi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Selmi Yağız fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Adana Sk's protests and gave Selmi Yağız a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Adana Sk got a freekick which was hit by Selmi Yağız. 45 minutes into the game, Bora Han Canay threw the ball into play from the sideline. Serbia's Miljan Gavrilovic quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sreten Popovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sreten Popovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Vladeta Jovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Adana Sk's Kurtuluş Özyuva got a free kick in the 60th minute. Batuhan Tüzmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sreten Popovic in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladeta Jovic in the 70th minute of play forced Adana Sk's goalkeeper Batuhan Tüzmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Serbia's Vladeta Jovic made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Batuhan Tüzmen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Adana Sk booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jovan Borisov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sreten Popovic during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sreten Popovic hit a great ball. Selmi Yağız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Miljan Gavrilovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serbia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adana Sk the free kick. After 85 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Miljan Gavrilovic. Drasko Rajkovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batuhan Tüzmen having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selmi Yağız got free with Zvezdan Nedeljkovic in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Adana Sk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Serbia.
