Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wally Postolan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 16th minute Wally Postolan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Schneider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barney Torpey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerome Sutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Greg Foley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wally Postolan in the 26th minute of the match. If Wally Postolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Ashley Sinclair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Nalder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Barney Torpey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wally Postolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Galishoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandro Galishoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Marc Kronecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Trevor Wells sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Austria's Fabio Auer didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Osfinch FC's zone, Jonas Nalder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barney Torpey came out of the goal and Jonas Nalder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Wally Postolan rounded Austria's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 66 minutes into the game, Emil Seidler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osfinch FC the free kick. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Emil Seidler hit a great ball. Barney Torpey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Nalder, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Ashley Sinclair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osfinch FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ashley Sinclair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonas Nalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd match minute, Osfinch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ashley Sinclair to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Greg Foley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
