In the 3rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ciro Lira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remco Dekker in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcus Odin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diederick Raemakers in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Decathlon Anderlecht booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Decathlon Anderlecht's Remco Dekker made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remco Dekker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After 26th play minutes Remco Dekker shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. 29 minutes into the game, Remco Dekker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Remco Dekker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remco Dekker in the 41st minute. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Lira having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Remco Dekker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Remco Dekker made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 69 minutes, Malte Schiele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Decathlon Anderlecht players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute of the match Richy Valkeneers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Remco Dekker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 minutes, Remco Dekker made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remco Dekker in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Loui De Loose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Remco Dekker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Decathlon Anderlecht's goalkeeper Ciro Lira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remco Dekker in the 94th minute of play. Pedro Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Decathlon Anderlecht walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
