Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carolo Eufemio started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Angua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Lars Meesters put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ladislao Osasun. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calixto Landoff got free with Arnout Reekers in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Sagrario was slow to take the kick. During this time Angua FC's players had a chance to rest. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Francisco Bidari hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ladislao Osasun. Angua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angua FC made a substitution. Miguel Florinio replaced Clodoveo Mercurio.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Braulio Lopes scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Florinio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Angua FC made a substitution. Siro Mikeldi replaced Marco Laurendi. In the 71st minute Braulio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Eufemio came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calixto Landoff in the 83rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
