Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frank Sachs sped through Pheonix FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olaf Sortsø. Olaf Sortsø didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Olaf Sortsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moritz Holmaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pheonix FC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Sortsø came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olaf Sortsø having to make a save. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Sortsø having to interfere. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olaf Sortsø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes Pheonix FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Adrian Dreifuss got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 24 minutes into the match. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Marcel Militaru struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pheonix FC. Ian Kjellstrand made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moritz Holmaa. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 任正振 made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Vladislav Hampejs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Vladislav Hampejs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 任正振, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Olaf Sortsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pheonix FC's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Sortsø came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jonas Læksand hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 任正振's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Moritz Holmaa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moritz Holmaa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 76th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Hampejs in the 79th minute of play. Moritz Holmaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when 任正振 came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olaf Sortsø. Pheonix FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Hampejs in the 93rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Germany eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
