Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Moneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Machlas in the 15th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Anastasios Machlas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Tristan Franquis in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tristan Franquis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tristan Franquis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Tristan Franquis made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Tristan Franquis in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Franquis came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tristan Franquis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten scored to the left of an out of position Tristan Franquis, making the score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Tristan Franquis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 58th minute of play. If Anastasios Machlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nelio Tielve came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelio Tielve couldn't finish the play. Casper Claes was a little too slow when Anastasios Machlas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-1. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara made a substitution. Liu Liang Gang replaced Bruno Moneda. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara made a substitution. Siebe Michiels took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tristan Franquis. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Ben Breton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Belgium walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
