A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Emanuel Podgoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, David Aranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Misael went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Fernendo came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Gabriel Ascaso managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Natalio Guter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Acercate Y Patea de Lejos defense, David Aranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Podgoreanu. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Podgoreanu should have stopped the shot. Omar Toledo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Podgoreanu. Emanuel Podgoreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Omar Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Emanuel Podgoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Ascaso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusebio Fernendo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Omar Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Podgoreanu skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 minutes of play, Spain's Omar Toledo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Podgoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the game, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Eusebio Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Ascaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Jose Gipuzkoa was substituted for Hipolito Misael. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 67th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Guter in the 69th minute of the match. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Omar Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Guter in the 93rd minute of the match. Natalio Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
