Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Filipe Meireles made a huge save. In the 31stth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Filipe Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Vincent Van Gogh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Van Gogh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
