In the 10th minute, FC Nordsjælland got a penalty, and Yulian Kichukov placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yulian Kichukov in the 13th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, FC Nordsjælland's Yulian Kichukov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sindre Walle in the 28th minute of the match. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sindre Walle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Andreas Schjelderup came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maxime Durand could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Frank Peletier kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Schjelderup in the 62nd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Jean Bombelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Walle in the 70th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Remy Dupuy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andreas Hansen made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Camille Baume sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Jean Bombelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yulian Kichukov in the 77th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Schjelderup in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andreas Hansen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Nordsjælland were victorious despite being under pressure from France for much of the match.
