Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when George Apelqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that George Apelqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Carlos Fernando Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Fernando Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. Guga Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Apelqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maurinho Mandrak hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Matías Arantes struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Mente Burro. When Matías Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Real Mente Burro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Arantes couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Matías Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Real Mente Burro's Carlos Fernando Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Real Mente Burro from getting a goal against them. Carlos Fernando Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Fernando Sabóia. Real Mente Burro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Oswald Winnepennincx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Matías Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute of play forced Real Mente Burro's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Carlos Fernando Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Real Mente Burro booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Real Mente Burro's Maurinho Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
