Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Baxters Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotirios Papagiannopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Janik Vogt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabricio Tuste, made in the 12th minute of the game. Staffan Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Baxters Boys's Jan-Olof Bergendahl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 20 minutes, Kevin Skarkman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baxters Boys and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when Baxters Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Skarkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Staffan Joensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Olof Bergendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Bergendahl got free with Tommy Kahn in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baxters Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sotirios Papagiannopoulos in the 38th minute. The corner ended in Sotirios Papagiannopoulos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Baxters Boys's Tom Nordmark shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Kahn but with some difficulty. Gerwin Redan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Fabricio Tuste in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Adrian Dreifuss.

In the 51stth minute of the game Jan-Olof Bergendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Bergendahl in the 63rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Jan-Olof Bergendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baxters Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Enrique Tavares replaced Jan-Olof Bergendahl. Baxters Boys's Carl Thorsberg was substituted for Bertil Andreasson. 74 minutes in the game Fabricio Tuste did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Enrique Tavares. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Tavares in the 84th minute of play. Carl Thorsberg took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 91st minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Tavares came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Baxters Boys's corner Sotirios Papagiannopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
