Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Proteu's Zé Roberto Salles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dida Dantas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Holub went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno got a free kick in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Proteu's Dida Dantas. Dida Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Proteu's Eriberto Fonseca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vít Biskup in the 20 minute of the game. Pavol Koleno made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oliver Holub immediately put the ball in play. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Fonseca in the 24th minute of play. Vít Biskup made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Proteu's Maicon Branco. 33 minutes into the game, Zigmund Maliar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Proteu's Maicon Branco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. Proteu's Dida Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Holub in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vavrinec Koleno in the 37th minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Dida Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Proteu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Branco to maneuver through the defense. The Proteu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Slovakia were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Pavol Koleno fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Pavol Koleno a yellow card for diving instead. Vít Biskup got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pavol Koleno. Proteu's attentive Maicon Branco managed to snatch the ball when Vít Biskup made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pavol Koleno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dida Dantas made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, Vít Biskup threw the ball into play from the sideline. Proteu's Maicon Branco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcus Peixoto in the 73 minute of the game. Slovakia's Pavol Koleno got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Pavol Koleno off the ground. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Proteu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Daniel Suchy in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Proteu's Evandro Guedes. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar came free and shot a quick shot against goal 83 minutes in the game, fortunately Dida Dantas had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Dida Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Holub in the 85th minute of the match. 91 minutes in the game Vít Biskup did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Metod Mlynar. After having played for 92 minutes, Oliver Holub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Holub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Slovakia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
