Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Lemel SV's Manfred Konradsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Petroni in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Ettore Petroni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemel SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Petroni in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Konradsson in the 13th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Konradsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 22 minutes, Manfred Konradsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Konradsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Manfred Konradsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Manfred Konradsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 31st match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Furia to maneuver through the defense. If Manfred Konradsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Simon Bendtsen. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Claudio Caniggia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Claudio Caniggia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Konradsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Konradsson in the 44th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Denmark booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Furia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. The throw-in from Jacek Furlit in the 50th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. Manfred Konradsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Petroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Claudio Caniggia kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lemel SV made a substitution. Dennis Bergkamp replaced Manfred Konradsson. In the 63rd minute, Claudio Caniggia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Bergkamp. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bergkamp in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dennis Bergkamp sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Wiklund. Lemel SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Lemel SV's Dennis Bergkamp. But to his dismay, Dennis Bergkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 81 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's Dennis Bergkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Petroni in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Dennis Bergkamp took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Keld Paulsen to make any attempt to save it. After 95 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Mello.
