Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Amedeo Recio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pär Are made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coviolo's Fabiano Di Nino got a free kick in the 5th minute. With his leg Keld Paulsen managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Coviolo's Amedeo Recio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pär Are showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Alessandro Buffone recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen. Alessandro Buffone showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Amedeo Recio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Coviolo getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ercole Carulli hit a great ball. Amedeo Recio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Keld Paulsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Amedeo Recio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. Amedeo Recio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alessandro Buffone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Coviolo's Ercole Carulli got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Recio in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Mathias Ludvigsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Svenningsen's late challenge caught a Coviolo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertram Svenningsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Svenningsen to maneuver through the defense. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amedeo Recio's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ludvigsen. Fabiano Di Nino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. Denmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertram Svenningsen got free with Pär Are in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Mikkel Wulff took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Pär Are to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Coviolo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alessandro Buffone hit a great ball. When Amedeo Recio fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coviolo's protests and gave Amedeo Recio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Coviolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Recio to maneuver through the defense. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Coviolo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
