Waldemar Pawlik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jedrzej Debowy kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Yuan Yin in the 25th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lu Yuan Yin's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 29 minutes, Lu Yuan Yin made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kees Mooiweer got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Waldemar Pawlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Waldemar Pawlik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, Chelmza Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zbigniew Boniek fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelmza Team's protests and gave Zbigniew Boniek a yellow card for diving instead. Zbigniew Boniek kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Chelmza Team's Waldemar Pawlik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Chelmza Team from getting a goal against them. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldemar Pawlik. That made the score 1-2 after 64 minutes of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Chelmza Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Jarmulowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Pawlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 73rd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldemar Pawlik could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Pawlik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Chelmza Team's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Chelmza Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. In the 89th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Pawlik having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chelmza Team.
