After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Adan Ondino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alejandro Terciero to make any attempt to save it. 11 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. 12 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alejandro Terciero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Alejandro Terciero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Pinocho Pelotari F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vasiliy Kisurin hit a great ball. Alejandro Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 32nd minute Elpidio Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Mero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Ondino in the 74th minute of play. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adan Ondino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 79 minute of play. Pinocho Pelotari F.C. made a substitution. Åge Thodesen replaced Taavi Noormägi. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Elpidio Mero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Olo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of play forced Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s goalkeeper Alejandro Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Bas Tuitert. In the 98th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Pinocho Pelotari F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pinocho Pelotari F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
