Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Hagedorn started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Mirco Kähler came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Reuter kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alf Tempel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Tempel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 18th minute. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Rapid Wien's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alf Tempel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Tempel. Alf Tempel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Alf Tempel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Rapid Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Alf Tempel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Rapid Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Alf Tempel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 31st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Tempel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Tempel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Tempel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Tempel having to interfere. In the 52nd match minute, Rapid Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Frach to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 53rd minute of play forced Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Rapid Wien's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Wim Wilmes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 59th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Tempel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Hagedorn sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Tempel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Daniel Hagedorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Albert Kraft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Rapid Wien's Sergio Skoczylas was substituted for Robin Dommröse. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Hagedorn got free with Arnout Reekers in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Kraft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Tempel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 88th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Tempel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 90th minute of play forced Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirco Kähler kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alf Tempel came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Netherlands were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rapid Wien for a fine match.
