Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teun Schoenmakers got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Folker Ubels managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Denmark's Chris Nygaard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 16 minutes, Simon Bendtsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the Lemel SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Denmark's Folker Ubels threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chris Nygaard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark's Lars Steen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gert Rensenbrink in the 34 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Gert Rensenbrink in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. In the 41st match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bendtsen to maneuver through the defense. Jacques Brinke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teun Schoenmakers in the 47th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkel Wulff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folker Ubels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Gert Rensenbrink in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. Folker Ubels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Rinus Zoontjens. After having played for 66 minutes, Mathias Ludvigsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Ludvigsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Folker Ubels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lemel SV's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folker Ubels came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folker Ubels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Olav Graversen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Gert Rensenbrink in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Gert Rensenbrink made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. In the 88th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Rensenbrink made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Denmark were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
