The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Sandell having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Gert Örtendahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Sandell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. George Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 17th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game Gao Xu Yong did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Telge77 made a substitution. Billy Rydberg replaced Herman Lagerberg. 65 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Örtendahl came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Sandell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. George Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 70th minute of play. Telge77 made a substitution. Otto Stenkvist replaced Brun Såsen. Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gao Xu Yong in the 76 minute of the game. Gao Xu Yong made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. After 82 minutes Telge77's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siricio Liotta who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Guiscardo Davide heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 84 minutes into the game, Adriano Curto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. George Sandell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Örtendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Telge77's goalkeeper George Sandell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1-2 became the score in the 94th minute when Adriano Curto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Telge77 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
