In the 6th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 10th minute of play forced Telge77's goalkeeper George Sandell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örjan Stenman charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Örjan Stenman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Örjan Stenman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. George Sandell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of the match. Telge77's George Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Sandell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Telge77's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Italy's Siricio Liotta to fire away a dangerous shot which George Sandell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. George Sandell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Nils Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örjan Stenman made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Jonsson in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Porziano Marchitelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Sandell came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 35th minute. The corner led Italy's Porziano Marchitelli to a score. 0-2 in the 35th minute. Telge77's Örjan Stenman got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Örjan Stenman off the ground. George Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sostene Vitulli kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Sandell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Italy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gert Örtendahl made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 55th minute of play forced Telge77's goalkeeper George Sandell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Telge77's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but George Sandell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otto Stenkvist replaced Brun Såsen. 82 minutes into the match, Telge77's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but George Sandell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 83rd minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Sandell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. George Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Sandell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Gert Örtendahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
